He is an American artist, lecture, author and he was born and raised in New York where he spent 20 years in advertising industry. He currently lives with his wifes in Berkeley, California. Bert has long tern to do with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and most his work is photo-realistic. Bert is a member of Photoshop World Drem Team and in 2004, he was inducted into Photoshop Hall fo Frame that honor and recognize those individuals whose contributions to the business, education, development, and art of Adobe Photoshop have enduring value.
He also published a several of books and his first book on the use of Photoshop (The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook), however, books have published in many languages. In 2000, he released his first solo book from New Riders (Bert Monroy: Photorealistic Techniques with Photoshop and Illustrator). He shares with reader the techniques that he has developed during his work about Photoshop and Illustrator.
In teaching and lecturing part, he served on the faculties of California College of the Arts and Center of Creative Imaging, etc. Bert teaches two national seminars: Photoshop Creativity Tour and Adobe Illustrator Tour for the Kelby Media Group now.
Since 2001, he has been a regular guest on the TechTV channel to share tips and techniques every monlth and also hosts Pixel Perfect with Bert Monroy. Bert also try to attend in movies industry for example; Disney Animation and Pixar.

This is his latest and most ambitious of digital painting about the panorama of the Damen Station on the Blue Line of the Chicago Transit Authority.
